What is Forex?

Forex is a pair-trading market that is based on speculation. When you trade Forex, you purchase or sell one currency against another without possessing it physically.

You’d place a BUY order if you thought the price of EUR would rise against the USD. You’d put a SELL order if you felt the price of EUR will fall. You’d make a profit if your prediction was correct, which would be equivalent to the difference between the open and close price.
